Fox Family
I grew up in a rural area surrounded by water, trees and wildlife. I spent most of my time stomping through the woods, climbing trees and watching animals. Now I'm thankful for the small barrier of trees separating my home from the county courthouse parking lots. This natural barrier has become an oasis for wildlife. One morning I noticed some movement in my neighbor's backyard. A family of foxes had moved in under his porch and I was witnessing the first of the kits explore their new world. They stayed close for about two months before they dispersed. I continue to watch the backyard every day hoping to catch one more glimpse of these beautiful, curious creatures.
